A concert of virtuoso duet of “Maestro” in the Grand hall of Erarta Museum and Galleries of Contemporary Art (2 29th Line, Vasilevsky island, St.Petersburg).
Winners of the international competitions Alexander Satsenko (accordion) and Andrew Baranenko (piano) have performed R.Galliano, A.Vivaldi, G.Rossini, S.Rachmaninoff, N.Rimsky-Korsakov, G.Gershwin, V.Tchernikov, G.Dinicu, V.Monti's pieces, and also exclusive music by Leonid Levashkevich. The concert has taken place under the initiative and with support of the Consul General of Ukraine in St.Petersburg N.Prokopovich.
The edition of Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation “the Parliamentary newspaper” marks:
“Both virtuosos are winners of various competitions and owners of honorable prizes and awards. This year the duet has won the first place at the IX International Competition-Festival of Art-Musical Creativity “Vivat, Talent!”. Art Union “Maestro” was founded in the late nineties and released already 13 author's audio-albums, some volumes of printed music and video recordings of the most successful concerts.
Musicians have shown the art on a scene of the largest Russian non-state museum of the contemporary art “Erarta” opened in the end of September, 2010 on Vasilevsky island. Here, on five floors and eight thousand square meters it is collected about two thousand exhibits of painting, a drawing, a sculpture. They were created for the last half a century by 140 masters from Russia.
Talking to an observer of “the Parliamentary newspaper”, the Consul General of Ukraine Natalia Prokopovich has marked that notable improvement of a Russian-Ukrainian political climate is positively reflected in a cultural contact”.

The celebratory charitable concert for veterans of the Great Patriotic War and inhabitants of blockade Leningrad, devoted to the Victory 65 anniversary, in the Grand hall of the St.Petersburg Academic Philharmonic named after D.D.Shostakovich (2 Mikhaylovskaya st., St.Petersburg).
In the Grand hall of the St.Petersburg Academic Philharmonic named after D.D.Shostakovich the celebratory charitable concert for veterans of the Great Patriotic War and inhabitants of blockade Leningrad, devoted to the Victory 65 anniversary has taken place. The St.Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra (artistic director and conductor – Alexander Dmitriev) has performed Leonid Levashkevich's author's programme “The Road of Love”. In a concert David Mnatsakanyan's piece “My Way” has performed also. The conductor – Alexander Chernobaev.
The concert was spent at the initiative of Consulate Generals in St.Petersburg of Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, the Honorable Consul of Kirghizia, Art Union “Maestro”, with support of the Plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in Northwest federal district I.I.Klebanov, Committee for External Relations of St.Petersburg, Committee for Social Policy of St.Petersburg, the St.Petersburg regional branch of United Russia, the St.Petersburg House of Nationalities.

Participation of the Art Union “Maestro” in the IX International Competition-Festival of Art-Musical Creativity “Vivat, Talent!” (15 Mokhovaya st., St.Petersburg).
Orchestrina “ARMONIA” (artistic director and conductor – Alexander Chernobaev) has performed Leonid Levashkevich's musical pieces “Jipsy Rhapsody”, “Jolly Wasp” and “Tarantella”. Soloist: Honored Artist of Russia Alexander Shustin (violin).
Soloists-virtuosos of “Maestro” – Andrew Baranenko (piano) and Alexander Satsenko (accordion) has performed two pieces: “Charleston” by L.Levashkevich and “New York Tango” by R.Galliano.
The representative international jury has awarded 4 diplomas of winners of the first prize to members of the Art Union “Maestro”:
– Leonid Levashkevich – the best composer;
– Andrew Baranenko (piano) and Alexander Satsenko (accordion) – the best duet;
– Orchestrina “ARMONIA” – the best orchestra;
– Alexander Chernobaev – the best conductor.
Collectives and soloists have taken part in competition represents about 140 creative organizations from Moscow, St.Petersburg, the Leningrad, Arkhangelsk, Belgorod, Novosibirsk, Pskov, Tula, Sverdlovsk, Astrakhan regions, Komi Republic, Udmurtiya Republic, Kareliya Republic, Chuvashiya Republic, Altay, Khanty-Mansijsk AD – Ugra, and also from Belarus and Finland.
As the organizer of competition-festival the Fund of the international creative programs “Inspiration” has acted, with support of Committee on culture of Leningrad region, Committee of the Government of St.Petersburg by education, the Union of concert actors of the Russian Federation, under the aegis of the International Competition-Festival Program of St.Petersburg “VIVAT, TALENT!”.

The honored artist of Russian Federation, the winner of international competitions Alexander Shustin (violin) and Irina Kusonskaya (piano) has performed Leonid Levashkevich's musical piece “Gipsy Rhapsody”.
